so let me see if I can explain something about the workings
of our shop. While we are, as I mentioned before, confirmed
technophobes when it comes to computers and (gasp) cell
phones and other neat things like that, I'd like to stress that
all of us here are dedicated to our art.
All of us here are super picky about our work.(In a nutshell,
that means that you ain't out of the chair until "WE" say you
are done. We pretty much assume that even if you're happy
with your tattoo, we know more about tattoos than you do, so
"WE" have to be happy with our work before we let you go.)
We specialize in cover-ups and custom work. This isn't as
problematic as it might sound because all of us tattoo artists
here are also artists in our own right. We can design some-
thing specific for you to cover up a previous...um.... mistake.
It makes it a lot easier to draw a cover up for an existing
tattoo than to try to find one on the wall that will fit over it
exactly.
Our credo for cover-ups is "If it looks like its a cover-up, it's
not a good cover-up." If you come into the shop and have a
wonderful idea for a new tattoo and can't find anything on
the walls (technical term: flash), and we DO literally have
thousands of designs to choose from ...we'll work with you,
make suggestions, and draw it up for you.
Our appearance may put you off a little bit, but that's just
us...we're actually literate, caring and careful. Our work and
your happiness with our work are of the utmost importance
to us. (Don't know nuthin bout no puters, but i am riting
this...so I are two literate.) On the next page we're going to
address a few topics that a lot of people need to pay more
attention to, so read it if you want to, if not...skip to the
